About I&C Craftsmanship
The Birth of I&C Craftsmanship: Where It All Started
Founded in 2004 by Ian Young and Corey Pollock, I&C Craftsmanship Corp began in a modest 1,500-square-foot workshop in Santa Ana, California. As demand and reputation grew, we expanded into a 4,000-square-foot facility equipped with automated CNC machinery, advanced woodworking tools, and a dedicated conference room for client meetings, sample displays, and design presentations. This growth reflects our ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and personalized service in every project we take on.
Ian and Corey both come from families deeply rooted in woodworking, with early experience building everything from homes and boats to custom guitars. They refined their skills through years of hands-on work in cabinetry shops, learning from master craftsmen before launching I&C to bring their own vision and craftsmanship to the custom cabinetry world. Their passion lies in turning complex design ideas into beautiful, functional pieces that blend artistry with precision.
Today, I&C works within a trusted referral network, collaborating with homeowners, designers, and contractors who appreciate the detail and care that go into fully custom cabinetry. Based in Newport Beach, our work spans from Santa Ynez to San Diego, with a strong focus on Orange County and Malibu. We carefully select projects that allow us to showcase unique designs and deliver the high level of craftsmanship our clients value and trust.

Our Process
Initial Assessment
01
Estimating & Budgeting
The estimating and budgeting process for custom cabinetry involves assessing project scope, including materials, labor, hardware, and specialized features. We collaborate with the client, designer, and contractor to provide detailed cost breakdowns based on measurements, material quality, and design complexity, making adjustments as needed to align with the client’s budget and vision.
02
Design
Designing custom cabinetry involves evaluating the client’s needs, kitchen layout, and style preferences to create functional, visually appealing solutions. Through close collaboration and tools like 3D renderings and material samples, we refine layouts, select finishes, and ensure accurate measurements. Multiple iterations help balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget before finalizing for fabrication.
03
Build & Fabrication
The fabrication process begins by translating detailed design plans into precise measurements and material selections. Using high-quality materials, our skilled craftsmen and CNC technology ensure accurate cutting, assembly, and finishing. Custom features are integrated with care, and the process concludes with thorough quality checks and final assembly for a seamless, durable result.
Construction
01
Quality Control
I&C’s quality control process includes thorough inspections at every stage—from material selection and precise cuts to assembly and finishing. Our craftsmen ensure structural integrity, alignment, and finish consistency, addressing any issues before delivery. Final on-site checks confirm the cabinetry meets all design specifications and client expectations.
02
Safety Management
Our safety management process ensures a secure work environment through strict protocols, proper equipment handling, and ongoing worker training. Protective gear, safe operation of tools and CNC machines, and regular inspections help minimize risks and maintain compliance with industry standards.
03
Installation
Our installation process ensures precise alignment and secure mounting through detailed measurements and expert planning. Professional installers use specialized tools to fit cabinets accurately, integrate hardware, and coordinate with other trades as needed. Final inspections confirm functionality, aesthetics, and client satisfaction.
Post-Construction
01
Upon-Completion
Upon completion, we confirm with the client about the successful installation, verifying that all design specifications and client requirements were met with quality craftsmanship. It outlines final adjustments, ensures functionality and visual alignment, and includes client approval, along with photos and as-built documentation for future reference.
02
As-built Documentation
Our documentation captures the final installed cabinetry with precise measurements, material details, and any modifications made. Including drawings, photos, and notes, it serves as a reliable reference for future maintenance or renovations, ensuring alignment with the original design and client expectations.
03
Warranty
A 10-year guarantee backs all I&C cabinetry against defects in materials and workmanship. Finishes are covered for 3 years, while all hardware includes a lifetime guarantee against defects in material and workmanship. Please note that these guarantees are non-transferable and apply only to the original homeowner.
